Here at The Platform, we are all about living intentionally. I lived very much of my life according to what other people wanted for me or thought I SHOULD be doing and I let this dictate so many decisions. I felt as though I was on an inauthentic hamster wheel, where I was living for LIKES… which meant acceptance and approval.

But what if we stepped out of this mindset and ascended to a new place? What if we made decisions from our own intuition, and lived with intention, for ourselves? We can only be the best version of ourselves if we are in alignment.

Getting to the root cause of why you HAVEN’T been doing something, thinking through how that makes you feel and visualizing yourself going and coordinating your life, mindset and schedule to actively support your intention is how this happens.

I also want us to say these intentions like they have already happened.  For example, “I am nourishing my body with clean food and working out 5 days each week.” I have already thought through why I haven’t been doing it. Maybe I don’t want to be the boring friend who doesn’t go out for pizza at midnight after partying all night. Maybe I was sexually assaulted when I was young and it affects the way I view my body. Maybe I don’t want people to judge me when I go to the gym and look different. Maybe I have a poor relationship with food because someone made comments about my weight when I was young and now I eat for comfort.

  

By setting an intention, you are healing deep wounds and creating a new opportunity for yourself to work through something. If you don’t do the work behind the intention, it’s not going to last.

Plain and simple.

Now we are super clear on intention setting. The WHY, the MOTIVATION, and set it as if you are there NOW. Your mind doesn’t know the difference between you being there or you saying you are there. If you say you are there and visualize you are there, your mind WILL BELIEVE you are there, and it is happening.
